Katherine Nguyen is a student in Mount Royal University and is pursuing a Bachelors of Communication in Information Design. She has a background in music, design, film, and animation, and strives to expand her creative skill set.

For as long as she can remember, Katherine has been involved in art and music, and has developed a passion for expressing ideas through creative means. She was involved in the Calgary Roundup Band and the Bishop Grandin Marching Band where she was exposed to a community of musicians and performers; and she has also established a presence in an online community of artists, animators, and other creators in digital art. Just recently, Katherine had discovered a new love for web design and graphic design.

Outside of the classroom and the office, Katherine is involved in numerous animation projects and groups with artists and animators all over the world. She also likes playing video games during her down time.
